Who developed this tool and why?

This Workforce Review Tool was developed in response to the identified need for organisations to build capacity in workforce planning and development to assist in addressing workforce challenges in the community services industry.

The Tool provides opportunities for organisations to work through four key domains to ascertain where they sit in their workforce development capacity. The results will provide valuable insight into what workforce planning and development practices, systems and documentations may require further development.

The Tool focuses on people and culture (HR) practices, systems and documentations, and does not cover other aspects such as financial, business and information technology components.

The project is delivered in partnership with TasCOSS on behalf of the social services sector peak bodies and the Tasmanian peak bodies of ACCPA, NDS, ECA Tasmania Branch (contracted to Lady Gowrie Tasmania).
